Gus's original script eight-ish was a 10 minute monologue of a young man on the phone to numerous friend's. Gus allowed Jon to take the story and expand it to include the other characters at their locations, turning it into an ensemble 28 minute film. Gus and Jon reworked the screenplay to accommodate these changes.
